- The drainage pipe(hose) for my washer is no more than 1 1/4 inch in diameter. I don't see how the snake could have possibly travelled through either the intake or the drainage for the washer. This story is too full of holes, don't you think?

- So, are pythons or boa's indigenous to Maine now? Had to be an unwanted pet, and seeing that snakes as pets are a little unusual, somebody out there in Maine must know somebody that recently lost an 8 foot long pet snake. Let's find out who that is and turn 'em over to the SPCA.

- God Bless America and the Freedom of Speech. As to who is right in the debate, Elisabeth or Whoopi, the decision is entirely subjective. There is no way to make a decision without passing judgement on another person's right to Freedom of Speech and their entitlement to their own opinion.

- I'm just curious how an 8-foot python could fit thru the water pipes of a washing machine. I know my intake pipes for water are less than an inch in diameter, and the drain pipe is certainly no more than 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
